Organizer responsabilities

Organizing a Shiftmakers event can be an amazing opportunity, but it also requires a significant commitment. Our role is to assist you in ensuring that you are fully prepared to take on this challenge. If you are interested in becoming a Shiftmakers organizer, please review the following list of responsibilities:

  • Create a Shiftmakers-like experience that incorporates great ideas, compelling storytelling, and a multidisciplinary program, and captures the spirit of Shiftmakers by inspiring change in the world and connecting with the community.
  • Drive change from the local level by featuring live talks from exceptional individuals who have an inspiring message, a novel approach in their field, a unique story to tell, or a fresh perspective to share, and who can deliver it dynamically.
  • Excite and delight your audience by making them feel that they are part of something important from the moment they receive invitations to the time they leave the event, and by constantly considering their needs.
  • Lead your team with strong and thoughtful leadership that makes everyone feel part of a supportive, responsible, and trustworthy community, and advocate for them to receive the necessary guidance and support.
  • Follow the rules and guidelines provided to ensure a smooth and hassle-free event.
  • Produce great content that “wows” your guests and viewers and requires a lot of creativity and work.
  • Celebrate and protect the Shiftmakers vision and mission by using the event’s logo often, spreading the idea of positive world change, and investing in the community spirit.
  • Devote work and passion to create an exceptional event that will be an unforgettable experience.
